Demonstration of a Session of Breakthrough Breathwork Meditation near Asheville

Hi, I’m Kris Cassidy, the founder of Breakthrough Breathwork Meditation, and I’m here today to show you what a session of Breakthrough Breathwork Meditation looks like. I’m here in our beautiful healing studio near Asheville, North Carolina, overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. So, the breathing practice is based on circular breathing, which means connecting the inhale with the exhale. There’s no gap between the inhale and the exhale, creating a circle of breath. You’re bringing the breath up from your belly up into the top of your chest on the inhale, and then just letting go on the exhale. You’re breathing in through your mouth and out through your mouth only. And for the first part of the session, you’ll be breathing at quite a good pace. There’s music playing throughout. The music will be fairly fast paced to start with. Then as the session progresses, the music will change pace, the breathing will slow down, and by the end, you’ll be breathing in a very soft, meditative way, still keeping that circle of breath going while I offer a sound bath.

I will help to facilitate the session by offering a safe place for the client, doing healing touch if the client is comfortable with that, some energy work, and just verbally keeping them on track and giving encouragement. The session will last for an hour to an hour and 15 minutes, after which we will discuss the client’s experiences. So I hope this gives you a good feeling about what our sessions entail.
