Guided meditation video Transcript

Hi, I’m Kris Cassidy, the founder of Breakthrough Breathwork Meditation. And today, I’m guiding you through five minutes of this powerful breathing practice. So the basis of this practice is to connect the inhale with the exhale so that there’s no gap, creating a circle of breath. You’re going to bring your breath up from the belly to the top of the chest on the inhale, and then just let go on the exhale. You’re going to breathe in and out through your mouth only, and you’re going to breathe at quite a good pace. So get yourself situated comfortably, either sitting or lying down, close your eyes, and bring your attention to your breath.

Just feeling the rise and fall of your chest, feeling the air entering and leaving your mouth. And you can start to connect to the inhale with the exhale, creating that circle of breath. Bringing the breath up from the belly to the top of the chest on the inhale, and then just letting go on the exhale. Breathing in through the mouth, breathing out through the mouth. One continuous circular flow of breath. Just keeping your attention on your breathing. If it’s helpful, you can visualize a circle of light, circle of breath. If your mind wanders, as soon as you notice that, you gently bring your attention back to your breathing and keep going.

You’re not trying to make anything happen. No need to be thinking about anything, just keeping your attention on your breathing. You may feel some body sensations like tingling. You may feel a deeper peace starting to envelop you. You may have some feelings surfacing, whatever it is. Just trust what’s happening, trust your body, and keep the circle of breath going. Inhale, merging with the exhale, merging with the inhale, merging with the exhale. If you start to engage in thought, as soon as you realize that, gently bringing the attention back to the breath with no further ado. Just enjoying the simplicity of this practice. Just keeping your attention on your breath and we’ll continue for one more minute. And then slowly returning back to the normal breath. You can open your eyes when you feel ready. And you can use this guided meditation any time of the day or night when you want to feel a little more centered, maybe release some stress, help yourself go to sleep, or just want to gain a little more clarity.

I hope you enjoyed this session and we’ll see you again soon.
